Privacy policy
1. General information
The protection of personal data is an important concern for the operator of this website. Personal data is processed confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the applicable data protection provisions of the European Union.
The use of this website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data is collected, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible.
2. Controller
Responsible for data processing on this website: Markus Sommer, Północna 5, 56-400 Oleśnica, Poland, markus.sommer@chromatexperten.de
3. Hosting and server log files
When this website is visited, the hosting provider automatically collects technical information and stores it in server log files. This may include IP address, date and time of access, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device and pages accessed.
This data serves exclusively for the technical provision, stability and security of the website. The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Contact
When contact is made by e-mail, the personal data transmitted is stored and processed exclusively for handling the inquiry, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related inquiries and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general inquiries.
The data is not passed on to third parties without explicit consent, unless there is a legal obligation to do so.
5. Cookies
This website may use technically necessary cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on the end device that enable certain functions of the website.
Where cookies that are not technically necessary are used, this is done exclusively on the basis of consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej, Journal of Laws 2024, item 1221). Browsers can be set to give notice when cookies are set or to block cookies altogether.
6. External content and third-party providers
Content or services from external providers may be embedded, for example videos, maps, fonts, social media content and technical libraries. When such content is accessed, a connection to servers of external providers may be established, and IP addresses and technical usage data may be processed.
Such services are used exclusively within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions.
7. External links
This website contains links to external third-party websites. No responsibility is assumed for their content, data protection measures or availability. The respective operator is solely responsible for the content of the linked pages.
8. Legal bases for processing
Personal data is processed in particular on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), (b) (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligations) and (f) (legitimate interest).
9. Rights of data subjects
Under the GDPR, data subjects have in particular the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing and withdrawal of consent given, and the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority within the European Union. The authority responsible for the operator is the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Moniuszki 1A, Warsaw).
10. Data security
For security reasons this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. An encrypted connection can be recognised by the “https://” prefix in the browser address bar.
11. Changes to this privacy policy
The operator reserves the right to amend this privacy policy to adapt it to changed legal requirements or technical changes to the website.
12. Visitor statistics and visit notification
With consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 399 Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej, visits are recorded for the visitor statistics of the hosting provider Wix (Wix.com Ltd.). In addition, when a new visit occurs, a notification is sent to the operator via the ntfy service (ntfy.sh, Philipp C. Heckel). It contains the page viewed, the referring website, the browser language, the time zone with the country derived from it, and the device type. No IP address or location data is included in the notification; ntfy processes the IP address of the browser to limit abuse and stores messages for up to 12 hours. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.
13. Newsletter
For the newsletter, the email address is collected via the sign-up form and processed with the form service and email marketing of the hosting provider Wix (Wix.com Ltd.). The legal basis is consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 398 Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej. Sign-up uses a double opt-in procedure: the address is added to the mailing list only after the link in the confirmation email has been clicked. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by email to markus.sommer@chromatexperten.de.
